I decided to go with neutrals, and natural elements with some sparkle added in. I am really enjoying the sparkles this year.
I found the boxwood wreath at Lowes, I plan to use it after Christmas also. I got a great deal on the burlap wired ribbon from Amazon.
I decided to keep my urns on the mantle for Christmas and added greens, lighted branches, silver twigs, and pheasant feathers. The silver twigs and pheasant feathers gave it the mix of natural and sparkle that I was wanting.
I found the gray satin bow pillow at Pier One, I like how the bow matches the gray velvet on the stockings.
To add the natural and sparkle mixed look again, I wove burlap ribbon and glitter trim through the lighted garland on the mantle. The mercury and paper script snowflakes have the same effect, natural and sparkle. I found the little mercury tree sitting all alone and lonely at Marshall's for $3.00, what a cutie!
More Christmas to come! Have a blessed day,
Kimberlee

Hi Kimberly! I just found you through a blog hop, and was instantly drawn to your white "shabby chic" decor! Love it! And, your "Fancy Shack" looks more fancy than shack to me, lol! Then again, I am a lover of white, and am working it into my home. Then, you add the Christmas decor and it takes it up ANOTHER notch on the happy scale!

Hello Cheryl, Thank you! Yes, I made the fireplace screen with my husband's help. It was made with $20.00 worth of wood from Home Depot, very easy project, I plan to do a tutorial post about it. :)
